Icelantic Nomad 105 Alpine Touring Ski - Men's
Nomad 105 Alpine Touring Ski - Men's
The Nomad 105 is Icelantic’s flagship model, best-selling ski, and the foundation of the Nomad Freeride Collection. Its 105mm platform and bombproof construction allow for great floatation and stability all over the mountain. Proven in the field (you see 'em everywhere), N-O-M-A-D is now how you spell "versatility."
The Freeride series features the Hybrid Flight Core consisting of poplar and paulownia wood, making the collection noticeably lighter and snappier—allowing you to effortlessly play all over the mountain with a ski stout enough to handle unpredictable terrain. This energetic freeride tool is best described as playful and surfy, but it really shines when heading off-piste and jumping into the trees, allowing it's carvy rocker profile to shine.
As a New Schoolers review stated, "the Nomad 105 is a top-selling ski for a reason. It's a super predictable and accessible ski that looks stunning on the rack. Compared to many ‘freestyle’ backcountry skis, I think these are more of a charger. And there's plenty of tail rise for all the freestyle maneuvers you could wish for too."
Thumbs up across the board!
